This week has been a busy week. Trying to get all settled in and getting the kid's ready for school. Well we finally did it. Got all their school shopping done and yesterday we got all the final details done for Cody.
Wyatt is almost done we are just waiting to have his IEP meeting to get everything in line. Hoping this year will be the year he can turn it all around! It has been a tough road with him and school. But yet he keeps his spirits high and pushes forward..
WOW to cool as I am sitting here writing I looked out my patio door to find two deer sitting just feet from me! You sure do not find that in the city.. Anyways Wyatt is such a bright kid but struggles to get it out on paper during regular classroom work, He participates in classroom discussions and can answer the questions if you ask him but can not seem to get it to the paper. However when it comes to tests he excels. He is the opposite of a person who freezes on test. Test are no problem it day to day school work that he struggles on.. But hopefully this will be the year we get it all figured out!!
Cody is doing well in Football and this Saturday is his first game so excited for that.. Wyatt is also doing good at his job at the pub, He enjoys making his own money and not having to ask me for things. I as well am enjoying this. Although it is a little weird to think that he is old enough to have a job it is rewarding in the same respect to know that so far we have done something right as parents.
Chad is enjoying his job up here and is making great strides in his career path. Me on the other hand is still struggling with the whole structure thing. Trying to find balance in a different sorts, Before it was trying to find balance between work and home life now it is just balance and structure in everyday life.. But I am sure once the kids start school and I have more of a routine it will all come together..
